This is a free Doom server hosting service.
You choose a WAD, click "launch server", and a new server instance is created for you. It will be automatically shutdown as soon as it is empty for several minutes.
Configurability is kept to a minimum and instead we focus on using "correct" configurations:
- Compatibility level options are automatically handled per WAD
- PvP gametypes use community standard settings
- Server instances are configured with our WAD download URLs so your client can auto-download them
We offer hosting in Europe and North America, and support Odamex, Zandronum and QZandronum.
What you CAN configure:
Progression Mode
Choose between continuous play through a WAD or using a custom map list.
WAD Mix (Odamex only)
Like a shopping cart for WADs - add multiple WADs to create a multi-WAD server with rotating maps.
Gametype
Each WAD supports a list of gametypes (cooperative, deathmatch, CTF, etc.) with pre-configured settings.
Modifiers (optional)
Bundles of options (nightmare, fast monsters, newschool deathmatch, etc.) or mods (Eon weapons, Vesper weapons, Vengeance weapons, Samsara Reincarnation, D4T, etc.) that you can apply to WADs. Each WAD is configured with a list of supported modifiers, so if offered it should work.
Password (optional)
Make your server private for friends-only sessions.
Getting Started:
- Browse the WAD list or use filters to find something interesting
- Click a WAD to see details and configuration options
- Launch your server and copy the connection command
- Paste the command in your Doom client's console to connect
Note: for Zandronum/QZandronum, you may want to connect via Doomseeker instead, to automatically download and load the correct WADs (Odamex handles this automatically).
